It is constructed of durable EVA foam pads with sponge foam covering on the inside for comfort, and is surrounded by a black polyester mesh rigging. Hook and loop fasteners provide groin protection without hindering mobility. It fastens easily to the CPX2500 suit with 1 in elastic and non-elastic straps
